Albert Park Table Tennis

Premier League Format

Format as of 26/05/2026:

  • At the close of entries, we have received 35 teams across 6 Divisions.
  • Divisions 1-5 will be a 3-person teams format. Teams may have a maximum of 5 rotating players and will play 9 singles matches only each round. Each match will be the best of 5.
  • In a 3-person team format, teams that have more than 3 members will need to decide which 3 players will be playing that night. In a 2-person team format (applicable in 2026 Season 2, Division 6), teams that have more than 2 members will need to decide which 2 players will be playing the 4 singles; any combination of players in a 2-person team may play the doubles, however.
  • Matches will be allocated to one of 16 tables with spare tables available for use.
  • Tables are available from 7.00pm (do not use the tables before then, as our hire only starts at 7.00pm). Matches should begin by 7:15pm and must be finished before 10.45pm - typically finishing time is anytime after 10pm. If you feel as though you are running late, please use one of the spare tables (#10, #11, or #20).
  • The TTV Premier League will be held under ITTF, TTA, and TTV regulations and by-laws and the current Table Tennis Laws where the ITTF Handbook will be used as the authority. Any rule defined in the TTV Premier League that is a modification of the ITTF Rules & Regulations will be given precedent. For more information about the rules, please visit the Premier League Rules page
